Camino 6 -- is the additive inverse of Z the SAME thing as the antiparticle?

emergent_rationals.py (Camino 4) read the additive inverse -n as a consequence of bipartite coupling symmetry: spec(A) = -spec(A). The emergent-particles layer (tnfr.physics.emergent_particles) reads sign(W) of the winding number as structural chirality -- matter (W>0) vs. antimatter (W<0). This harness asks whether those are two readings of ONE structural operation: the chiral (sublattice) Z_2 involution of a bipartite TNFR graph.

THE CLAIM (one involution, two representations): A bipartite graph 2-colours into sublattices X, Y. Define the chirality operator Gamma = diag(+1 on X, -1 on Y). Then: * NUMBER reading -- Gamma ANTICOMMUTES with the coupling matrix A: Gamma A Gamma = -A (equivalently {Gamma, A} = 0). Hence if A v = lambda v then A (Gamma v) = -lambda (Gamma v): every mode n has a partner -n, so spec(A) = -spec(A). The additive inverse -n (N -> Z) is forced by the coupling, not injected. * PARTICLE reading -- the same conjugation acts on the phase field as the charge conjugation C : phi -> -phi, which sends the integer winding W = (1/2pi) closed-loop circulation to -W. sign(W) flips: matter (W>0) <-> antimatter (W<0). Both Gamma (on A) and C (on phi) are involutions (g^2 = id): one abstract Z_2, realised on the coupling operator and on the phase field. And both inverses share one neutral element / vacuum: n + (-n) = 0 (additive identity of Z) W + (-W) = 0 (a matter-antimatter pair has zero net topological charge -> annihilates to the scalar |W|=0 vacuum).

CONTRAST WITH CAMINO 5 (the two different Z_2 of a bipartite graph): equivariance_wall.py used graph AUTOMORPHISMS -- permutation matrices P that COMMUTE with A (P A P^T = +A); the commuting symmetry builds the equivariance WALL (a symmetric state cannot enter Fix(G)^perp). The chiral Gamma here is a diagonal sign matrix, NOT a permutation: it ANTICOMMUTES (Gamma A Gamma = -A) and is not an element of Aut(G). The commuting Z_2 makes the wall; the anticommuting Z_2 makes the additive inverse / the antiparticle. Same graph, two distinct Z_2 actions.

ENGINE (known theorems -- the independent ground truth, all pre-TNFR):

  • A graph is bipartite iff it is 2-colourable iff there is a diagonal sign matrix Gamma with Gamma A Gamma = -A (chiral / sublattice symmetry of bipartite tight-binding / SSH Hamiltonians). Then spec(A) = -spec(A).
  • The topological winding number W in Z is ODD under phase conjugation: C : phi -> -phi => W -> -W (definitional: circulation reverses sign).
  • Gamma^2 = I and C^2 = id: each generates a Z_2.

TNFR reading: the canonical discrete dNFR / phase-curvature operator is the emergent random-walk Laplacian L_rw = I - D^-1 W (symmetric twin L_sym); A is the coupling matrix and D - A its imposed combinatorial cousin. The chirality here is carried by A's bipartite sublattice sign flip (operator-independent). The additive inverse from bipartite coupling is emergent_rationals.py piece (1); sign(W) = chirality / matter-vs-antimatter is the emergent_particles classification. This harness shows they coincide: one chiral Z_2.

HONEST SCOPE: This is a structural ANALOGY made exact at the level of Z_2 group actions on a finite graph: the additive inverse and the charge conjugate are the same involution in two representations. It does NOT claim TNFR derives the CPT theorem, the physical existence of antimatter, or the Standard Model -- those carry analytic and field-theoretic content far beyond a sublattice sign flip. It also does not make arithmetic primality emergent (that is Camino 1/2). R (continuum) and pi remain assumed substrate; this is Z, not R. Nothing here touches G4 = RH, Navier-Stokes, or Yang-Mills.

Camino 6 -- is the additive inverse of Z the SAME thing as the antiparticle?

emergent_rationals.py (Camino 4) read the additive inverse -n as a consequence
of bipartite coupling symmetry: spec(A) = -spec(A). The emergent-particles layer
(tnfr.physics.emergent_particles) reads sign(W) of the winding number as
structural chirality -- matter (W>0) vs. antimatter (W<0). This harness asks
whether those are two readings of ONE structural operation: the chiral
(sublattice) Z_2 involution of a bipartite TNFR graph.

THE CLAIM (one involution, two representations):
  A bipartite graph 2-colours into sublattices X, Y. Define the chirality
  operator  Gamma = diag(+1 on X, -1 on Y). Then:
    * NUMBER reading -- Gamma ANTICOMMUTES with the coupling matrix A:
        Gamma A Gamma = -A      (equivalently {Gamma, A} = 0).
      Hence if A v = lambda v then A (Gamma v) = -lambda (Gamma v): every mode n
      has a partner -n, so spec(A) = -spec(A). The additive inverse -n (N -> Z)
      is forced by the coupling, not injected.
    * PARTICLE reading -- the same conjugation acts on the phase field as the
      charge conjugation C : phi -> -phi, which sends the integer winding
      W = (1/2pi) closed-loop circulation  to  -W. sign(W) flips:
        matter (W>0)  <->  antimatter (W<0).
  Both Gamma (on A) and C (on phi) are involutions (g^2 = id): one abstract Z_2,
  realised on the coupling operator and on the phase field. And both inverses
  share one neutral element / vacuum:
        n + (-n) = 0          (additive identity of Z)
        W + (-W) = 0          (a matter-antimatter pair has zero net topological
                               charge -> annihilates to the scalar |W|=0 vacuum).

CONTRAST WITH CAMINO 5 (the two different Z_2 of a bipartite graph):
  equivariance_wall.py used graph AUTOMORPHISMS -- permutation matrices P that
  COMMUTE with A (P A P^T = +A); the commuting symmetry builds the equivariance
  WALL (a symmetric state cannot enter Fix(G)^perp). The chiral Gamma here is a
  diagonal sign matrix, NOT a permutation: it ANTICOMMUTES (Gamma A Gamma = -A)
  and is not an element of Aut(G). The commuting Z_2 makes the wall; the
  anticommuting Z_2 makes the additive inverse / the antiparticle. Same graph,
  two distinct Z_2 actions.

ENGINE (known theorems -- the independent ground truth, all pre-TNFR):
  - A graph is bipartite iff it is 2-colourable iff there is a diagonal sign
    matrix Gamma with Gamma A Gamma = -A (chiral / sublattice symmetry of

  - The topological winding number W in Z is ODD under phase conjugation:
    C : phi -> -phi  =>  W -> -W (definitional: circulation reverses sign).
  - Gamma^2 = I and C^2 = id: each generates a Z_2.
