test_temporal_interface.py

Offline tests for the temporal structural-interface pipeline.

These tests validate pipeline mechanics on synthetic, deterministic data and exercise the real-data download path only through its graceful-skip behaviour, so the suite never requires network access.

Honest note: the synthetic fold fixture is used here purely to check that the classical critical-slowing-down baselines (variance, lag-1 autocorrelation) rise before a known transition. It is a mechanics fixture, not evidence for the TNFR thesis.
